Biography[edit]

Appearance[edit]

At first glance, one wouldn’t take away much from this young, curly haired woman. Standing at five foot, six inches, and only weighing about one hundred and forty-five pounds, Cerv is a basic height, a basic build. She has an athletic figure, a result of years of recovery training to join the Navy; but, unfortunately, the same figure is very easily hidden by her flight suit and she looses the possibility of physically intimidating. In reality, aside from some impressive posture, there weren't a lot of “striking” or “exotic” features to report about. The most obvious feature of this trainee is her hair – a long, dark brown entity that seems too curly for its own good and is often thrown together in a very messy bun and tucked up behind the nape of her neck. Typically, nothing less than a well-tightened bun has any dream of trying to make it managible. Yet, any thought to control it is wishful thinking since her hair does whatever it wants, whenever it wants.

But just because there is a lot of it, that doesn't necessarily mean that Cervidae Sandor is only hair. The moment those curls are pulled back and the rest of the girl is revealed, everything seems to accent a pair of the most striking gray eyes. They stand out, trained with an intensity that rivals that of soldiers. They shine like polished metal, gleaming as if they could pierce through just about anything. They even have a habit of intimidating others, especially those on her own team, but she doesn't typically mean anything by it. It was just a trait of intensity that came as a result of staring at a hospital ceiling for countless hours of serious boredom.

To complement said eyes, Cerv is very fair skinned (almost a pale ivory in certain lights). Her paleness is kinda a running joke with herself, especially since she use to be fairly tan as a kid. But, once again, being locked in a hospital for three years tends to drain the color off your skin pretty fast. What remains today as a faint memory of the girl's tanned days are freckles. Tons and tons of freckles that are dusted graciously over her cheeks and arms, mixing along with her light rosy complexion. The same faint pink that glows lightly on her cheeks also highlights her perfectly crafted lips. They are shaped in such a way that it feels as if they were to twist into a sly smile at any minute, which they typically are; the woman seems to always have a smile on her face.

Hidden from the rest of the world, yet still very much so a part of her physical appearance, Cervidae has a very long, thin, jagged scar running up from her hip to just below her chest. Ironically, that is the only scar to remain from a hellacious three years of intense surgeries. The cuts, tears, bruises, holes, gashes, and near-fatal wounds that covered her body after the accident all seemed to heal just nicely, but the one scar that she sort of caused herself by waking up during the middle of a procedure and having a panic attack while a knife was gently attempting to form a small incision on her abdomen remained ever present. She was able to thrash around long enough to cause a nasty looking scar to form, but doctor's did all that they could to make sure that it healed up the best that it could. As a result, it's only a thin scar that remains as opposed to something that could easily resemble a vicious animal attack.

Personality[edit]

Aside from the classic hardworking attitude that pushes most trainees out the Academy, Cervidae has nearly mastered the ability to maintain a level head in high-stakes situations – making her truly valuable. Cervidae finds strength in knowledge and planning (as well as fighting), dedicating her free time to reading up on allies, partnerships, battles, fighting styles, maps, histories, and just about anything that she deems worth knowing (which tends to vary as the day dictates what goes on in her mind). The habit has a tendency of hinting at obsessive, especially if she feels that she hasn't learned enough. If she feels lacking, Cerv has no qualms putting down her readings and doing her own investigations. Obsessive or not, however, she is passionate about things that she ensconces with. Along with that, she is quite amicable. A laid back soul and easy going smile helps others see that although she can have her moments of strict discipline and rigid posture, she's really nothing to be intimidated by; she merely wants to assist her fellow Imperialists reach their absolute best potential.

But, if they are not willing to work with her, she will not bother working with them.

She will not allow others and their wills to affect her or the Empire’s plans, she will show what comes from planning and learning. Cervidae is truly at home inside of her Interceptor, which benefits her when she demonstrates the true power of an educated blood lust. Her own survival, the Empire's plans, and the destruction of enemies is the breakdown of her preferred fighting style; She would even rely on herself solely if even her own wingman aimed to jeopardize that in any way (unless, as one would remember, the woman deems her wingman's survival to be more important than her own. In a situation like this, Cervidae will selflessly defend her partner, even if it meant ensuring death.) The mindset has gotten her very far in life, for the most part, and she aims to go even further. The woman, although painfully aware of her own weaknesses and strengths, still views herself as someone that the Empire will see true potential within. However, some weaknesses leave her feeling uneasy about what her future in this organization; Her hamariata is a lingering desire for wealth. Greed burns in her heart and it seldom shows any sort of backing down. It has become a touchstone of the human's persona; yet, despite the ever present temptation, Cervidae's ambition and guts to go far in life keeps her grounded.

History[edit]

Faeya Nami Cervidae Lynn-Sandor, also known as Cervidae Sandor, was born to a single mother on the planet of Lotaith. She was the only child and the only burden to a woman who just wanted to hide herself from society and the world. The child was nothing more than a mistake, an accident – A punishment from a power greater than the mother could ever begin to imagine. The mother feared destruction and anguish to come from the result of one terrible, tragic evening to which a child was made. However, the child was nothing more than just that: a child. She wanted to explore the world, learn, ask questions, meet people, interact with the bustling universe she had been born into. Never a word came from her mother, so the girl took to answering her own questions with the help of those around her. It was through her youthful curiosity where she discovered the intense beauty of flying. The moment she found flying, her curiosity turned to focused passion towards finding a method of unrestricted flight, which she found when learning about the incredible Navy the Empire had. From that day on, Cervidae wanted nothing more than to jon the Empire’s Navy, trying so hard to impress recruiters from the day she turned eighteen.

However, sometimes we can’t always have what we want.

On her first attempt there was a bit of a complication. She was on her way to the recruitment center when a freak crash (an accident on both parties sides) led to a terrifyingly close call in the emergency room, along with a three year period where she was left lying in bed with no chance for returning to the recruiter’s office. Yet, the bed-rest didn’t kill her hope of reaching the skies as a flyer; in fact, it only re-instated it. Even through the recovery, all the girl could see was the vast, unexplored temptations of the universe. The urge to leave the confinding spaces of life planted on the ground was her push and her drive to recover to the fullest so she could pursuit her one passion: flying. The recovery – although very painful and isolated – did occur and, aside from the long scar on her abdomen which remains to this day as a souvenir of the crash, Cervidae is more than ready to take to the skies.
