Squadron History[edit]
Created in the wake of the catastrophic losses at Lehon, Nightshrike is part of the 1st Imperial Fighter Wing, Javelin Wing. The unit was originally activated as an active PC squadron under the direct command of Wing Commander Geordi Atrasin. However, the Navy's numbers at the time would not sustain three active squadrons and Nightshrike was deactivated within days of its creation, joining the other NPC squadrons of the wing. Its membership was dispersed into the two active squadrons, Tuk'ata and Rhegent's Reign.
Nightshrike was reactivated a few months later, again under the command of Atrasin. The Lieutenant Commander would not remain long, though, resigning his position within a few weeks. Master Chief Petty Officer Dracule "Drac" Mihawk was then chosen to take over the squadron. Unfortunately, activity slumped and the squadron was once again deactivated several weeks later, this time for good. Nightshrike is now currently awaiting pilots.
Not long after it's reassignment from Javelin Wing, Nightshrike was reassigned to duty aboard the Iron Duke.
Nightshrike is now assigned to the mSSD [Atrus]
