Squadron Commander Reporting Template

Overview

As a Squadron Commander (SC) you’ve got a responsibility for the whole unit, and your report will reflect that. Note whether your FMs and FLs have got their report in to you or not, as well as how many story posts they (and you) made, and what type those are. Pass along any questions or suggestions you received that should be handled by one of your superiors. Make sure you don’t forget to include any comments you may have as well, and remember to note your own activities and posts. If a mission’s just finished, think about how your people performed and maybe put them in for a medal or promotion. Remember that sometimes members need to be disciplined as well, for not reporting or for causing problems, etc. Make sure to reflect that as well.

There are two sections below. The first is the template itself, which can be Copy/Pasted and then filled out to make a good report. The second is an example of a report to use as a guide if you get confused. It can often be a good idea to fill out the table once and save it to your computer, then update it as people join, leave, or get moved or promoted, as well as with the correct number of posts for the week, etc. This makes it easier and cuts down the time it takes.

Other Activity:
Several members did PPC, Albino updated the squadron wiki page, and Darian and Rutian began a CD together. Overall, the squadron's moving forward with the current mission, though activity isn't quite where I'd like.

Upcoming plans:
Next week we'll continue the current mission and advance into the enemy base itself. I also expect more PPC and maybe another CD story.

Questions/Suggestions/Other:
Albino made a good suggestion about adding personal details for each pilot to the squadron wiki page. If that's good by you we'll start that project.

Awards/Promotions:
Albino should get the Merit Cross 1st Class and a promotion to PO1 for his activity and helpfulness.

Problems/Punishments:
Stormrider needs to be declared AWOL- he hasn't been on in weeks. Also, Speed should be docked 1000 ICs for not reporting in again.
