The Rebel Squadrons (RS) is an online club centered on the Star Wars universe and dedicated first and foremost to providing a rewarding and fun experience for all of its members. The Rebel Squadrons also strives to cultivate creativity, excellence, and leadership amongst its members, in a manner consistent with the ideals of the Star Wars Republic it is pledged to defend.
We have members whose ages range from 8, all the way up to 40+. People join from all over the globe, from Singapore to the United States. In spite of cultural differences, or perhaps because of them, the Rebel Squadrons is an enjoyable and exciting atmosphere to experience Star Wars.
The Rebel Squadrons believes firmly in the H.I.E.R. principle. Pronounced "higher", the acronym stands for Honesty, Integrity, Equinimity, and Respect. The RS is founded on the fact that each of its members must strive to meet this code, and knows that every other pilot and soldier fighting for the Rebellion strives to meet this code as well. We take the H.I.E.R. prinicple very seriously and expect every member to do the same. The RS has many members who are legally defined as minors and we take our responsibilty to ensure their safe enjoyment seriously.
We support many different gaming platforms - check our main website for a list of all of them. A partial list includes: X-Wing, TIE Fighter, X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter, X-Wing Alliance, Dark Forces, Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight, and Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. The Galactic Empire... Founded on 1998-01-10, we are an online Imperial gaming and role-playing organization dedicated to re-creating the Empire of the Star Wars universe.
The "GE" bases itself on many Star Wars game platforms, primarily from LucasArts but recently encompassing more, namely TIE Fighter (TIE), X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter (XvT), X-Wing Alliance (XWA), Jedi Knight (JK), Mysteries of the Sith (MotS), Jedi Outcast (JO), Jedi Academy (JA), StarWars Galaxies (SWG), Galactic Battlegrounds (GB), Force Commander (FC), Battlefront (BF), and most recently the addition of Free Worlds (FW) as the total conversion of Freelancer. Our operations also extend to many other areas of Star Wars Imperial fandom.
Six years after the Battle of Endor, the fall of Grand Admiral Thrawn sits heavily.
