The Vast Empire…

We are an unofficial Role Playing Organization, as well as a gaming organization, based on the Imperial Army from the Star Wars Universe®, created by George Lucas.

The Vast Empire has been around since 1998, and has grown to encompass many aspects of Star Wars Fandom.

We have an active storyboard in which VE'ers can create a unique character and join the Imperial Navy, the Storm Trooper Corpse, participate in the Engineering Corpse, Home of the VE Today (Yes, you can even be a writer), or even aspire to the ranks of the mysterious Dark Jedi Order.

Each branch is broken down further into functional units: the Navy has Wings made up of Squadrons, and the Trooper Corpse has Platoons made of Squads.

The VE has stories that may encompass all of VE, both Platoons and Wings, a few squads, one squad, a few members individually, or even just one member. There are specialty stories for your character to grow professionally, and personally.

We also have medical benefits through ImperiCare, a stock market through ImperiTrade Financial, and a place for you to shop to your hearts content, Imperial Center Store. In other words, there is a functional economy inside the VE, as well as a command structure, through which you can strive to achieve the highest levels.

Payday is once a month, and your pay scale depends on your rank. We have characters of many races from the Star Wars Universe, including Droids, Humans, Whiphids, Barabos, and more.

We keep in touch through our forums and on IRC chat. We also play LucasArts games and compete with each other through contests and participation in stories.

There are opportunities for everyone to grow and add to the Vast Empire. We make web pages, original artwork, original stories, and much, much more!

The period of our club is set in the Thrawn Era of the Star Wars Universe. All Star Wars fiction written by members pertaining to the club takes place at this exact period in Star Wars history.

The current High Council commanders of the Vast Empire are Kadann and Talon. Along with several Division Commanders, the latter individuals constitute the Vast Empire High Council, which make all decisions concerning the organization.
