Appearance and Personality[edit]
Aflons Flamel always maintains an aura of calmness that few have ever broken. He never raises his voice; instead he speaks in a neutral tone mostly which some find more fearsome in certain circumstances. However probably the most intimidating trait he possesses is his formal and business like thinking. He believes that no one, except the Grand Moff is anything but an asset ready to be terminated when they have outlived their usefulness. Aflons always refers to people as their rank or position to remind them they are below him.
Though that is his personality, he has far more dangerous traits. Aflons is always thinking, calculating, and observing every place. He treats no one with trust mentally though he may make others think he does. Which brings him to his next and probably most useful trait and that is his ability to manipulate and break a person which serves him well in interrogations. Put simply Aflons is not someone you wish to cross because quite frankly, it might mean the rest of your days will be spent in a… reeducation facility.
Born to a lawless world where doing the wrong thing was the norm, Aflons should have never become who he is now. Funny how fate is…
Early History[edit]
He was born during on Nar Shaddaa, the farthest thing from a noble idea. His father was a bounty hunter, his mother a dancer in one of the many bars on the planet. Though it may seem like a bizarre family it was quite the compassionate and loving family who did what was necessary to survive. But, Nar Shaddaa has never been kind to its inhabitants and this family was no different. When he was thirteen, his mother was murdered by a spice addicted human who followed her home and when she refused to offer “services” she was killed.
Aflons’s father returned home swiftly, and brought vengeance to the human only to find out it was the nephew of a crime lord. They were forced to quickly make leave but, the crime lord would not allow it. A dozen thugs attacked the apartment and Aflons was forced to watch from a compartment in the wall as his father was mocked by the crime lord and his thugs before ending his misery. Aflons was changed and there, he swore vengeance.
Well aware he was only thirteen and he could not fight a crime lord he instead accessed his father’s fortune through his many bank accounts and bought passage off planet, while looking up his father’s contacts. He came to Coruscant looking for a specific contact. A man named Karnos was supposedly a partner is some big hunts with his father. He found the man after several weeks of searching and buying off people for information. Karnos knew already that his father had been killed as his mother and told him he wouldn’t help if Aflons end up killing himself.
Vengeance[edit]
Seven years later, Aflons believed he was more than capable of dealing out punishment to the crime lord. It would be no easy task though, sure Aflons was armed to the tooth but, that didn’t mean he could take on an army of thugs. He decided he would become a bounty hunter on the crime lord’s retainer and went into action quick trying to gain that position. He hunted down a bounty on New Republic senator and he brought the head, unasked to the Crime Lord who rewarded him handsomely and put him on two more missions before welcoming him into his underground court.
Some may wonder how he could manage to gain the trust of the Crime Lord so quickly and the answer is simple. He did what was necessary and considered everything business. He opened his mouth only when necessary and for that the Crime Lord believed him capable and trust worthy. Three weeks after gaining acceptance into the underlord’s court, he made his move. He methodically cut down every guard who stood in his way. No one could stop him with his abilities in full blown mode due to the rage and Aflons had no intention of letting anyone live. When he finally reached the terrified Crime Lord, Aflons decided to torture him the same way the lord had done to his father. He didn’t relent until the Crime Lord was curled into a ball crying and then Aflons killed him with the words, “Just had to finish some business of mine…”
Imperial Years[edit]
With his father avenged, Aflons pursued the bounty hunter profession for a few more years until he decided it wasn’t for him not to mention his abilities seemed to have faded from view. While on Bastion he noticed stormtroopers marching along a street and he became suddenly inspired. After all those chaotic years on Nar Shaddaa, life in the incredibly corrupt New Republic he finally saw what he craved… order.
He signed up quickly and joined the Imperial infantry and proved himself very valuable in the field and was moved into the ISB.
He was often considered so formal and business like the other agents wondered if life might have been different, if Aflons might be leading some super corporation. Aflons however had become cold by that time and could not see any amusement. The stuff he saw and acts committed during the war made him so disgusted he shut any one and everyone out, believing everyone to have played a part in the horror of the battles he fought in. When the Empire fell, Flamel went with the Vast Empire Faction into the Unknown Regions.
Still he did his duty so that he might preserve order so that the previous war would never be fought again. He was ruthless in his quest for order and stability and because of that and his past intelligence experience; he was placed in the position of Lord Mayor of the Cepany city of Renmard.
