The Ferrum Umbra is currently a corvette that is in service with the Vast Empire Navy. The Ferrum Umbra's commander is no other than Naval Executive Officer, Captain Denethor.

History[edit]
The Ferrum Umbra began its career as a prisoner transport about four years after the creation of the Vast Empire. After a three years of service, its weaponry was upgraded and four new turbolasers were added and it joined the third fleet. There it participated in battles that were vital to the existence of the Vast Empire, including the push to the Core worlds. It fell out of service for a while, acting as a troop transport for many Army missions. It has since been retrofitted with enhanced shields and a stronger hull.
Crew[edit]
Executive Officer[edit]
Alexona San-Creon is the Ferrum Umbra's commander and executive officer. She joined the service of the Empire just after the fall of the Emperor. The fleet she joined was located above Ord Biniir, and was part of the faction of the Remnant that would become the Vast Empire. Her service began as a turbolaser operator aboard a frigate and slowly moved her way up to tactical officer of a Star Destroyer. When this Task Force was started, she was promoted to XO of the Ferrum Umbra.
Anchor Squad Leader[edit]
Sergeant Dacyo is the Squad Leader of the Anchor Squad, one of the two marine squads on the Ferrum Umbra. He began his career on Ferrum Umbra as a trooper in Anchor, and quickly moved up the ranks. When the former SL was killed in a raid of a New Republic cruiser, Dacyo was XO and proved himself to be a good Squad leader in the rest of the battle. His work was noticed and he was promoted.
Requeim Squad Leader[edit]
Sergeant Major Plate is the Squad Leader of the Requiem Squad, the second squad on Ferrum Umbra. Requiem was receently assigned to Ferrum Umbra due to the purpose of the Task Force. Plate is an old timer who has led Requiem for the majority of his career. He's been a member of the Empire since before the Fall of Hoth, and was aboard one of the Star Destroyers that escaped the Battle of Endor. He left that faction of the Remnant and joined the Vast Empire shortly after it was created. He's had a very decorated career, both in the True Empire, and the Vast Empire.

- PO1 Hagen - Tactical Officer of the Ferrum Umbra. He has spent much of his short career on the bridge of battleships, and was moved to the Ferrum Umbra for its purpose in the Task Force.
