Jinx was born in the Tapani Sector and was insulated by the onset of the Galactic Civil War by the royal intrigue of the Tapani Houses. Her planet was aligned with House Melantha, which was strongly pro-Empire, which meant she never was privy to Rebellion propaganda until leaving her home in her late teens to travel the stars as a merchant trader.
Five years as a spacer in employ to a House Melantha firm taught her how to run a ship, eventually moving up to bridge operations. The expansion of Imperial Center provided an opportunity for her to move over to a company where she could operation her own ship, which she did for an additional three years.
Now she spends her time performing specialty runs in her customized personal transport and in performing special operations duties for the fledgling IC Operations teams to protect the corporation from outside threats.
