Mission Details[edit]

Events Prior to Mission[edit]

Aphamos was promoted to Platoon Adjutant.

Objectives and Goals[edit]

Primary Objectives[edit]

  • Be the last trooper standing in the simulation.

Secondary Objectives[edit]

Planned[edit]

  • Vent any anger felt in the Platoon. The mission was designed so the Platoon members could kill each other. (Not really sure if this was a true objective however.)

Improvisional[edit]

  • None

Goals[edit]

This mission was mainly used as a "filler" mission before Chapter 8.5.

Mission Debriefing[edit]

The mission began in a bar on Tadath, where all of Wildcard Platoon was waiting for Aphamos, who had just been named Platoon Adjutant. After a few drinks, Aphamos, Darr-Rann, and Rizzit decide it would be best for the platoon to vent some frustration with their fellow members with a free for all simulation mission. After telling the Platoon they have some "fun activities planned for the afternoon", all the troopers make their way to the simulation rooms.

After arriving in the simulation rooms, many of the squads paired up in teams, allowing for easier dispatching of enemy squads. However, there is much distrust among the squads and many people are constantly thinking of how they can win.

After a short briefing by Rizzit, the squads are dropped into the simulation, in what appears to be a jungle with a mountain nearby and a factory building. The squads quickly take defensive actions, but this does not stop one unidentified Wraith Squad member to be shot by Aphamos with a sniper rifle.

The mission then ceases, as no more posts were written and it was abandoned due to Chapter 8.5.

Outcomes[edit]

The mission was not completed, however it did add some character development to some characters on the battlefield. It also showed some of the darker sides of some of the troopers in Wildcard Platoon.

Memorable Quotes[edit]

  • "Well, seeing as how you're all in awe: here's the deal. When you get killed in the sim, you will be taken out of the sim. I'm sure you guessed this much. However, when you arrive back in real-time you will be showered in hot, thick oil. I'm sure that none of you will be too happy about that." -Rizzit
  • "Because the terminal is run by a human who has a nasty sense of humour and sometimes a techie might want to get back at me for a game of knucklebones or something." The Senior Sergeant said as he put the energy pack into his gun. -Rogueboy, after being asked why he checks his weapons in a simulation.
  • The shot rang out, shattering the thick layer of silence that covered the entire area. The bullet struck the troop in the head, a thick puddle of blood now beginning to form around the Wraith. -Aphamos
