Appearance

Short and heavyset, Ren sometimes has slightly disheveled look, but this is mainly due to the fact he would rather tinker with stuff than sleep. Although he weighs a fair amount, when dealing with any problems with the ship's systems he can move very very fast, and is of the opinion that as long as he can still get to equipment before it blows, he does not need to lose weight. Although he looks large and slow do not underestimate him, he is an experienced fighter, and when he does decide to fight, his calloused hands (from years of working with equipment that sometimes fights back) will take apart your body with the same efficiency that they do a piece of malfunctioning equipment.

Personality

Calm and generally easygoing, the only real way to get his hackles raised or to get him pissed off is to threaten or damage his "babies" which are the engines, or any other system, of any vessel he is an engineer aboard. Touch his "babies" with malice in your mind, and he will stop at nothing to destroy you.

History

Although he had a relatively quiet career prior to his service aboard the LCR Onyx, he distinguished him well in the combat at the Epsilon System, and managed to keep the ship together, and in fighting shape, despite all the damage that it took. He doesn't talk much about his history before the Onyx, saying that it was aboard that ship that his life really began, and that everything that went before was just leading up to the moment he assumed the position of Chief Engineer aboard the LCR Onyx. He is very proud of his recent reassignment to the Imperial II Frigate Fearless and looks forward to being able to serve aboard this wonderful vessel. Won the Cross of Bravery for actions at Epsilon System
