Curriculum[edit]

The Program itself consists of four (4) Sections:

  • Section I - prove yourself a leader (OOC and IC), by posting regularly to the official story for the ship to which you are currently assigned (whether you are the XO, a CSC, a WC, or an SCO aboard that ship), AND by starting a new story, introducing the NPCs that will eventually be the nucleus of the bridge crew for your first command (which will be either a DP-20 or CR-90).
  • Section II - focus on your NPC story, developing at least three NPCs, and setting the stage for the introduction of your Warden-class ship, where all the NPCs will train in their roles at the same time as your PC trains in his/her role as CO, during a series of training exercises.
  • Section III - begin your Ship Captain Fitness Exam, which consists of a story featuring your NPC crew and your PC, where they take your Warden-class light cruiser on a shakedown cruise (you will be assigned one of three plot prompts, at random, by your TO).
  • Section IV - complete your Ship Captain Fitness Exam, complete all of the wiki work for you NPC crew/ship, and make a full report; if your work was satisfactory throughout, you will be assigned a DP-20 or CR-90 to command in official Navy stories!

Preparation[edit]

Upon acceptance to the program as Midshipmen, trainees will adjust their ID lines:

MS/(Rank) (Callsign)/(Ship name)/TF:TH/3Flt/VENA/VEN/VE

Once you have gotten that done, and have clearance from your Training Officer to begin, head to Section I of your training for further instructions.
