Characteristics[edit]
The TIE/my Mykal is a custom-built platform for use in Outer Rim patrols. It features four traditional solar panels, plus two high-efficiency panels and a single thrust engine.
The main concept behind this design is to have a very capable fighter that can stand up against a number of enemy fighters. The additional solar panels feed a large amount of energy banks (used for shields and laser fire) and an engine that makes it possible to keep pace with nearly every common fighter found among most galactic, planetary, and criminal fleets. Large experimental wings collect electromagnetic energy and make the ship virtually limitless in terms of operating range and energy availability.
Notes[edit]
The name Mykal derives from a bat-like predator from the planet Kashyyyk. Mykals are known to immediately attack when encountered.
Origins[edit]
The TIE/mk Mykal is the creation of Adam Kop, who designed the ship from mockup to final graphic. Some statistical elements are his, as defined on his DeviantArt page. Item use permission has been requested and granted by the artist.
