Unwritten Rules: Navy

This page is an ongoing work in progress. Basically, it lists all the rules that have developed in the Vast Imperial Navy over time, but have never been officialy set down. This page is a miscellaneous box and a catch-all, but the subjects it touches on are important and it will do you good to pay attention to the items listed below:

• When writing story posts, make sure you use the third person perspective, not the first.
  • The wrong way: "I pumped up the acceleration and banked hard into a port turn."
  • The right way: "Drac pumped up the acceleration and banked hard into a port turn."

• When writing story posts, use the past tense, not the present.
  • The wrong way: "Hunter is walking up to his Interceptor, looking it over thoroughly."
  • The right way: "Hunter walked up to his Interceptor, looking it over thoroughly."
