Appearance

Giovanni is a medium built man with about average height, for most men of Borosk, and a posture that implies he was well bred as a child. His black hair is alway kept short, about ear length, and groomed back with a part down the middle that has been bloodied with styling gel to the extent of making his hair almost rock hard and somewhat reflective of the light. His skin is slightly darker than fair which is a by product of the somewhat brighter sun that he was brought up under but after some time the tan may fade to a more normal fair colour. Voss's eyes are a deep emerald green that glares intensely forward seeking the core of a persons soul. Everything about his face is reflected, a finely sculpted nose, high cheekbones, and a muscular jaw make him a somewhat handsome man to most near-human and human species.

Personality

Giovanni tries to act like a gentlemen under all circumstances bringing forth his raising on Borosk to help him make the honourable or right decisions but another part of his political upbringing has taught him to be guile and sweet of tongue to get his own way over someone else's idea that he may consider wrong or foolish. He is easily infuriated by small constant tapping noises that some people might make when they are bored during some lecture, he finds it to be rude to those around the tapper and would love nothing more than to sweep around and pound the person, but always keeps a polite composure. Success is the name of the game in ever aspect of Giovanni's life, he joined the military not just to please his father, but also to challenge himself to come to new heights in his life; Every time Giovanni succeeds at something, he considers it another victory. He believes that losing or failure as a distasteful step that sometimes must be taken in order to achieve a greater victory.

History

Giovanni Voss was born to a Teacher named Katherine and Trader named Jason Voss during a cold winter-like night on the barren planet of Borosk, a planet that is so far removed from the Galactic Core that it had been forgotten in most galactic affairs for decades. This meant that Giovanni would live a boring and sheltered life out of his families estate getting almost everything he needed including material objects, fine food, and a decent education provided for by his Father's extensive trade business that he ran out of a Bulk Freighter. However, this was not the life that Giovanni had in mind for himself. As a child he would sneak out and visit nearby settlements that had Imperial Barracks for local garrisons of Stormtroopers and Imperial Conscripts that would tell him stories of war against rebels and beautiful planets in the distant stars, these stories drove Giovanni to daydream often of being at the helm of a massive battleship, commanding space engagements, or in a starfighter cockpit, doing battle with enemy aces; All this was against his parents wishes who had wished that Giovanni would take over his fathers business as an independent Trader.

As the years went by, things simply did not change, which drove Giovanni insane. One late afternoon, he finally made up his mind to leave the happy estate of his parents and sign on with the local Imperial recruitment station, he only looked back once before walking away without telling anyone. He muttered a vow to act as he was brought up in an honourable and honest way before meeting with the Officer that would process his application. The entire application process only took a few seconds, the Officer most likely only glanced over the name, species, and age before stamping the acceptance and a few minutes more before he was on a transport that would take him to the academy. The one thing he remembers most about that trip was when the old ship left the atmosphere and prepared to jump to hyperspace, Giovanni looked down on Borosk, now little more than a giant beautiful green and brown marble, then there was nothing but light, they were off.
