Chief Warrant Officer is awarded to an experienced Squadron Commander or Ship Captain who shows great activity and leadership ability. It is the highest rank a member can achieve without a commission.
The ID Line tag for this rank is: CWO
Position[edit]
Any member holding the rank of Chief Warrant Officer ranks directly above a Warrant Officer 1st Class and directly below an Officer Candidate.
