Operation, repair, and modification techniques of a myriad of devices are taught to these troopers, as well as command level encoding structures in order to be able to call in ground, air, and space support directly without going through normal channels. Successful candidates can expect to be granted consideration for advancement into the training path for Advanced Technicians, aka Slicers.
